OCR: YYYYEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA TH At last the liquidation is over !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Long live ESCOM !!! E is for something ... S is for Superior .. . C is for C =. .. which is now theirs O is for "Oh my god it's over !!!! ". and M is for Manufacturing again !!! YEAAAAHHHHH ? ? ?????? Oh yeah. ... E is for licEnsing out thE tEchnology to cEi !!! Dave PutytheCat@Delphi .com VC Well, maybe we should start talking to Escom quick about the future of our beloved machine. Let the company know there is a strong, dedicated user base that has been the true life of the Amiga since day 1. Let them know what we would like to see in future machines. Suggestions on how to make a strong stand, and regain ground in today's computer market. Maybe offering ourselves in some way to help promote the new venture. We need to make sure that we have something with Escom that we never had with Commodore: communication. UC Subject : ESCOM won. It *is* a good news Date: 21 Apr 1995 12:05:04 GMT Organization: Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne I don't understand why people are so afraid of ESCOM. It is a large german retailer which *has* the financial power to give a second chance to the Amiga computer. They have a 1.1 billion$ turnover ( just think about what is CBM UK turnover, they are selling nothing since 1 year!). This give the ability to restart manufacturing, advertize, The other good news is that ESCOM is a European company and Amiga's market is in *europe *. DELL will have been a bad news. ESCOM knows well how to sell computers in Europe and they have a strong retailer network. So, believe me, ESCOM is a very good news indeed.
